Hola! 🙂 My beautiful reader. How are you? How is your day going? Let me know in the comments below. I took a break today, sat down to write my Sep beautybox unboxing.
For my newbie readers 🙂 , the vegancuts is a monthly subscription box that delivers to your doorstep with vegan and cruelty-free beauty products. It’s a good way to learn new brands and try new products out available. They ship international, if you are interested do check them out.
The vegan cuts boxes are curated with a theme every month. This month we have “Primp and Pamper – to prepare for colder months to come”. What a thoughtful formulation. Lets get to the unboxing.
GAFFER & CHILD – Facial cleanser:
First item is a raw vegan, organic non-gmo liquid facial cleanser infused with lavender and peppermint. This is a full size product and is the highest valued of this month box. I love the text, design and packaging of this product. Facial cleansers are essentials to everyone, it was good to have this included. The major ingredients include spring water, sunflower, coconut, castor, olive, jojoba, lemon, lavender, peppermint essential oils, willow bark and green tea extract. Wow that would be really moisturizing especially best for cold winter months. Claims to be a light weight cleanser and provide nutrients, moisture and antioxidants to the skin. Sounds good i’m looking forward to try this one.
TERRE MERE COSMETICS – Mineral Blush:
Well this is a straight up disappointment because i got the same blush in the July month box (when a choice of blush/bronzer was given i had received the blush). If it was a different color i would have been happier, but i got the exact same shade “Lychee”. However it is a wonderful mineral blush and a beautiful color. For more details check out my July month beauty box review (Click here).
DERMA E – Detox Scrub:
Derma E is one of my favorite vegan skincare brands. They produce quality products , no-doubt. It’s always a plus to get them in vegancuts box. This is a sample – sized daily facial scrub with activated charcoal. Charcoal is very good for your skin especially to remove out all the gunks and oils. It claims to purify the skin and give a fresh and healthy radiance. Happy to try this out.
EVERYDAY BOTANICALS – Hair nourishment oil:
Next is an interesting addition, a hair nourishment oil specially good for curly hair. Since i’m naturally a wavy haired girl, i’m eager to give this one a try. Claims to enrich the hair follicles down to root without making it greasy, protects from wear and tear, gives hydrated and luminous hair. The dominant scent are of lavender and tea tree. The other main ingredients include olive oil, meadowfoam seed oil, rosemary oil, vitamin E , sage, yarrow, horesetail leaf and nettle leaf extracts.
HEMPZ – Body cream:
The last item for today is herbal whipped body cream from Hempz. I had used their body lotion of coconut and watermelon scent. I really didn’t like that scent combination. However this one is much better, its thicker and moisturizing. A very good travel product. Designed for all day moisture. It’s infused with hemp seed oil and other main ingredients include cannabis seed oil, sweet almond oil, apple extract and more. Its free from gluten, paraben and THC.
Hopefully this helped you to get to know some new cruelty-free brands or find you some favorites to try out. Let me know your favorites and thoughts below!
